Everything, organized. Nothing, hidden.

Connect your banks once. Verify a category with one click each morning. Everything else — margins, debt payoff, budgets, business P&L — stays current on its own.

Real bank & card linking

Securely connect checking, savings, and credit card accounts. Every new transaction syncs in automatically — nothing to type in by hand.

AI auto-categorization

Every synced transaction gets a suggested category the moment it arrives. Log in each morning, glance through, and verify with one click — or pick a different category from a dropdown when it's wrong.

Budgeted vs. actual, by category

Set a monthly budget per category — including custom ones you create — and see real spend against it. Groceries budgeted at $800 but actually $915 this month? You'll see it instantly, not at month-end.

Link transactions to debt & cards

Tie a synced payment straight to the debt or card it belongs to, so your debt snowball and your real spending stay connected instead of living in separate places.

Real-time margins

Edit any expense or income and watch weekly and monthly margins recalculate instantly — no save button, no refresh.

Bill Pay Account

We calculate a recommended weekly, biweekly, or monthly transfer to cover every bill — override it anytime, it's always visible on your dashboard.

Bills, kept simple

Every fixed cost in one list, with due dates, autopay status, and totals that stay accurate as prices change.

Debt snowball tracker

Debts sorted smallest to largest, interest rate and payoff date calculated live, with a clean collapsible card for every balance.

Business P&L

Self-employed income and expenses run on their own math, with a real profit & loss statement by week, month, year, or custom range — and still roll into your combined totals.

Savings & investing

Track savings, investing, and retirement contributions separately from spending — mark each one as an expense or a transfer, your choice.

Credit tracking

Log your credit score over time and watch a monthly trend of your total debt and margin — see your progress, not just a snapshot.

Interactive calendar

Toggle month to month and watch every bill, debt payment, and payday land exactly where it's due.

Set up once. Check in every morning.

Fixed costs get logged one time. Everything else — your real spending — takes 30 seconds a day to keep current.

1

Log fixed costs once

Bills, debts, and income — enter them once, on whatever schedule they run. No re-entering ever again.

2

Connect your banks

Link checking, savings, and credit cards. Every transaction syncs in and gets auto-categorized by AI.

3

Verify each morning

Glance at what synced overnight, confirm or fix the category with one click, and see budgets update instantly.

One plan. Everything included.

No tiers to compare — every feature is included from day one.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you start your trial.

Yes. Your data is stored in a secured Postgres database with row-level security, meaning only your authenticated account can ever read or write your records — not even other NextUp users. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
Bank connections are handled by Plaid, the same infrastructure used by thousands of banking and finance apps. NextUp never sees or stores your bank login credentials — Plaid handles authentication directly with your bank and hands us back a secure, read-only connection.
Every AI-suggested category is just that — a suggestion, shown clearly with a small AI badge until you confirm it. Pick a different category from the dropdown any time, including categories you've created yourself, and it's saved immediately.
No. You won't be charged anything for your first 7 days. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your card is billed $9/month automatically. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard's "Manage billing" link.
Yes — there are no contracts or lock-in periods. Cancel with one click from your dashboard, and you'll keep access through the end of your current billing period.
Yes — NextUp was built specifically for people juggling W2 income, personal bills, and self-employed or business income at the same time. Business transactions run on their own math but roll into your combined totals automatically.
Your data stays associated with your account. If you'd like it fully deleted, just email us at billpay@nextupcapitalgroup.com and we'll remove it.
Yes. Beyond bills and debt, NextUp covers your full financial picture: savings, investing, and retirement contributions; a dedicated Business P&L view; and a Credit tab where you can log your credit score and watch a monthly trend of your total debt and margin over time.
